The last two circles of Hell punish sins that involve conscious fraud or treachery. The circles can be reached only by descending a vast cliff, which Dante and Virgil do on the back of Geryon, a winged monster represented by Dante as having the face of an honest man and a body that ends in a scorpion-like stinger (Canto XVII).
Bolgia Ten: Falsifiers, those who attempted to alter things through lies or alchemy, or those who tried to pass off false things as real things, such as counterfeiters of coins, are punished here. This bolgia has four subdivisions where specific classes of falsifiers (alchemists, impostors, counterfeiters, and liars) endure different degrees of punishment.

ReplyDeleteAny Dr that would inject sculptra under your eyes is an idiot. That is malpractice
ReplyDeleteYes it is medical malpractice. Unfortunately a jury is not sympathetic to honest people who are deceived by plastic surgeons who have the ethics of a snake. Because he looks good and lies under oath and they are not capable of understanding complex medical issues. It was injected into my Orbit for God Sake! The CT scan shows it there. The pathology and subsequent surgical reports show it there. But he says he didn't do that. he does not have an informed consent form from me either because he said he got verbal consent. Had I know that he had no experience using this device, that he was not trained to use this device and that even when used by skilled professionals there is a high complication rate, I would have said No Way! I had no idea he was going to inject it where he did and the manufacturer says NOT to inject near the eyes.
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteI also recently got sculptra injection and got lumps. You haven't been posting for a while. Are you ok now? I was wondering if there lumps can be surgically removed after these years. I am now scared to death....
Hi Anonymous, I have had a few surgeries because the inflammatory granulomas resulted in a horrible infection. Depending on where your lumps are, it is possible a competent plastic surgeon could help you. For me the very bad and most painful lumps remain along the orbital rim and are surrounding the infraorbital nerve. Surgeons have not been able to perform surgery in that area because there is too much risk associated with nerve damage. I already have nerve damage because the idiot who injected it under my eyes did not know what he was doing and put too much there and in an area you are not supposed to put it. So .... it remains. This was done to me February 2008. There are still granulomas. I do not think it will ever go away. Good Luck to you.
